Don't Wait for Change.Lead It.

We are seeking a few good women to be leaders on an advisory board.

Um...what?

"Did they show that design to anyone before posting?"

Why we need an advisory board:  People have blind spots and we need your help to make sure we do this right.

  • Shape authentic support systems – Help us move beyond assumptions by bringing your lived experiences and professional insights to ensure our programs address the real, often unspoken challenges women face in their careers and lives
  • Challenge our perspective – We need voices who will constructively question our approach, identify gaps in our thinking, and help us see beyond our founding team’s limited viewpoint to create truly inclusive solutions
  • Bridge intention and impact – Guide us in translating good intentions into meaningful outcomes by spotting where our services might miss the mark or inadvertently exclude certain groups of women
  • Co-create responsive evolution – Partner with us to build feedback mechanisms that keep our community agile and responsive, ensuring we grow in alignment with the changing needs of the women we serve
confusing sign that either says "Just do nothing" or "It is Impossible" relating why advisory boards are necessary
An advisory board of women

decrease the b.s. you had to go through to get where you are and

make a space for women to thrive

Let’s be blunt: In a group of 10 women, at least 9 of us have had to deal with some unnecessary B.S. to get where we are today. We can change this by helping the next generation find their voice in the market. Our part is to facilitate the space for that discussion.

Hi

I’m Disa.
If this is our first time meeting – I’m a real person, and this is a real board.
I like safe spaces, community, deep discussions and listening to people speak passionately about what they do. I’ve made a lot of partnerships over the years in my own business and on other boards,  from NASA JPL, big ole corporations and small businesses galore. I think there’s a way to mesh all of this together to make it easier for women climbing corporate ladders and building businesses, ultimatley closing the pay/funding gap.

We can do it better than what exists, and for the majority of programs, do it without cost barriers.
